Akshaya Patra- Assuring food for every school going kid.

Hi.

I am feeling so good for this..! I have just sponsored food for 50 School going students through Akshaya Patra.

There can't be a better feeling in the world then this, when you donate something for a cause as big as this one.

You feel so good when your hard earned money goes for a noble cause, that too which assures prosperity and growth of someone else.

When your money can feed a kid who just would perhaps have not gone to school if someone like you have not sponsored for his food.

Yes, until one's stomach is not feed one can't imagine of education, and when food is assured, you can have a dream to be educated.

This is a story of millions of people in India, who could not get ample food and hence they are restrained from education.

How to get work done without paying any bribes ? - A Practical Guide

Practical guide to get your work done without paying any bribe

Government babus (officials) use different tactics to extract bribe. You may take the following action to counter those tactics. These are very simple & useful. I have tried them with very successful results.

(1) Indefinite Delay: They keep on delaying your work until you go to them & offer bribe.

Solution:  Don't visit government offices. Follow up your pending work by letters. You may send letters by courier, registered post or speed post. Local speed post costs only Rs 12/-. Local couriers are available at Rs 5/-. You may also use RTI Act to know status of your work. In this case you need to spend another Rs 10/-.

My Blog, My Way of Life - MY STORY..!

Hello Readers, Thanks for your love.

Today, I am going to write my own story here, as my blog reads “My Blog, My way of Life..!” So let me write something about my life, and the journey so far..!

Before starting it let me tell you that

There are always three sides of a truth.
1. Your Side
2. My Side
3. The Real Side

I am representing here my side, but I hope it’s very close to the real side
So here it goes…!

December 5, 1987 was when I officially came on this earth. Born in a Royal Rajputana Family, “Chauhan’s” in district Mainpuri of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As a Chauhan, I was welcomed in this world with Gun Fires in air. More than 6 round of Fires in air. Yes, this is the way a kid (specially a boy) in royal race like Chauhan’s is welcomed.

The War of Titans – Google Vs. Microsoft.

Google and Microsoft - the two biggest software companies of the world need no introduction for sure.

One, who uses a computer, uses Microsoft products for sure and one who comes on web cannot stay away from Google products for sure.

Microsoft and Google have entered in to each other’s field and hence an outbreak of war between the two giants.

Microsoft entered in to search, Google’s basic and legendry product and its main bread and butter. Microsoft is all set to give tough fight to Google in this segment. The second most used search engine after Google is Yahoo. Microsoft had tied up deals with Yahoo to bring a better search engine for end users, and hence a straight attack on Google. Google today stands for a generic term for search. Most of us suggest our mates, “Google it out”, means ‘search it out’. Google’s vast portfolio and more products adding in longer terms may dilute this term.

Taking business on web (Online Business)

Hello Readers,

Many companies have proven record of taking their business on web and have made huge money online, for example India’s retail giant Future Group’s” Pantaloon.com. International players have already proved themselves like like.com, which has now become a Google invested company. Dell computers are probably one of the best examples of customization of features over web and quick and reliable delivery periods. But these successes don’t come in a day or even in a year you have to be consistent over the same.

But taking business on web for a small player is not that easy task, running a business on web needs many efforts, and investments.

Pre-requisites of Business on Web.

Is your Website Growing older ? Is it giving you desired Revenue ?

Years back, you took your business online with the latest and most cutting edge eCommerce technologies. Now, almost half a decade later, your website is still chugging along, but that once shiny layer of digital paint is now showing signs of age.

Does this story sound familiar?

Patriotic Poem - Yeh Jo Desh hai mera, Swadesh hai mera - By Navneet Singh Chauhan

Dear Readers,

Here is my one of my latest patriotic song.  It is written in Hindi, so some of you may not be able to read it.
This song is an edit of the Original Hindi song from the movie, "Swades", starring Shahrukh Khan.
But here the motto of the song is completely changed, and you can cherish the song in a  complete new way.
As in Swades the song was to motivate Non Resident Indian’s  to "Come back home, come back to India".
Here this song is written in a way to motivate every Indian to fight for our country, India. And make it truly independent.

You can sing this song the very way you have been singing the original song, “Yeh jo desh hai tera, Swadesh hai tera, Tujhe hai pukara”

A billion dollar Saving – Water Conservation

Water is Precious, Water is Life..!
Water is Refreshing..!

Water need to be conserved to the fullest of its extent. Today I am going to share a water conservation tip, which can save gallons of rain water. We are personally using this method of rain water conservation from last 10 years.

It’s simple and very easy to implement.
Let me share the benefits first.

BENEFITS:

Inception- The Movie and Reality

Its one month since I have watched this movie. Inception is one of the best English movies I have ever seen.

Inception as a concept is really a new concept. Going in to others dream and understanding the person. Going from one dream level to another and still another and so on. The reduction of time and living a full life in dream is phenomenal. Creating a new idea in others mind so the person may think accordingly, made me feel wow..!
Security of dream concept; and returning back from dream through death or big shock all the things made movie a great one. The love story of hero made it still interesting.

But inception as reality up to how much is it possible??????

Dowry System in India - A short story of a women's fight against dowry, gender equality & acid attack #StopDowry

2023 UPDATE: Hello Friends, thanks for giving so much love to this post. Back in 2010 when I wrote this post, I haven't expected so much love from every one of you. The story has been enacted in several colleges in India and has been widely appreciated by viewers. It is one of the most read blog posts on my blog with 50K+ reads.

Also, one positive update, in the last decade India has seen an overall reduction in dowry cases and dowry deaths but the battle against dowry would go on till the day the society becomes dowry free.  Thank you so much once again.

Short Story on Dowry System in India

Tuesday, March 30, 2010: Hello friends, I think story and poems are the best way of fighting against any social issues, so I have decided to write few stories against some social issues, I would like to begin it with the Dowry system prevalent in India and other neighbouring countries.
Before beginning with the dowry story, I would like to share some facts and figures so that it can be realized how serious the issue is.

At least 1 woman will die in a dowry related attack in India every hour.

In 2004, Amnesty International reported that at least 15,000 women were being murdered each year in India, in dowry related cases. Other grassroots women’s organizations in India estimate the number to be much higher. The Ahmedabad Women’s Action group for example has estimated that at least 1000 women were killed each year in dowry-related homicides in the state of Gujarat alone.

A touching Poem.

A strong touching poem on “Drink and Drive”. Must read this, and specially if u have that bad habit of drinking and then driving.

I went to a party Mom,

I remembered what you said.

You told me not to drink, Mom,

So I drank soda instead.

I really felt proud inside, Mom,

The way you said I would.

I didn't drink and drive, Mom,

Life in a cage | My experiences at Sayaji Baug Zoo, Vadodara

Hello Visitors,

Yesterday, that is 20th Feb, 2010. I visited Kamati baug (now known as Sayaji Baug Zoo), in Vadodara city.

After a tired  day in the city, suddenly I got this idea to visit Sayaji Baug Zoo at 2.00 PM, so I hired an auto-rickshaw and moved towards the railway station. From railway station, Kamati baug is in nearby area so I took a walk and reached there. (Approx. 1.4 km)

Then i entered the Kamati baug (Garden), as the place was already visited by me in the past it was no wonder for me.. The lush green grass and couples sitting hand in hand soon followed, i kept moving  wondering were sit peacefully. Many couple’s hang out here and i guess this place is a paradise for them.

At age 22- 23 defining life is still very immature thing, but still whatever i have experience of it and what i learned from others about life is what i like to share..

Life is a beautiful gift to every human.. A gift from god to every organism born on this earth and in the unknown corners of this universe..

Life is the period which a living organism lives from birth to death.

Politics- A dirty Game??

I have heard many people saying Politics is a dirty game, stay away from its.. Many people suggesting not to go in politics, its not a good place for a common man, not to go as it is full of risk, risks which covered not only financial but risk to life..

Well, to me politics is a field where you can work for your nation, you can contribute for the nations progress and do the things which you cannot do at other places, not even being as a CEO of a MNC company, a big leader has enormous power in his hand, if directed positively he can do many things for the people.
When politics come in my mind, I stuck off to few good people’s who come in my mind, right from Loh purush (sardar vallabh bhai patel), to Indira ghandhi, rajiv ghandhi, Nehruji, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, to Soniya Ghandhi..

Interview Tip

E Balaji, CEO, Ma Foi Management Consultants, has spent 15 years with the HR consultancy firm and manages a team of over 1,200 professionals across 60 locations. In an interview with Urmila Rao, he offers tips to job-seekers on a wide range of areas from smart salary negotiation to making an impression in an interview to attaining good appraisal review and being a star performer...
What do employers look for when interviewing a candidate?
Work ethics, honesty, loyalty, confidence and problem-solving ability are some of the traits looked for in a prospective hire. The key four Es here are exposure, experience, expertise and excellence. A student from a reputed college, without work experience, would be considered as having an exposure to certain concepts and will be expected to demonstrate those in his application.

Dt. 5th Jan 2010- IndiaBulls Interview

Hello Friends,

It was one of the disappointing day as i was not selected in an interview for job at IndiaBulls Securities. I was not much interested in the job, the only thing which attracted towards the job is to secure myself with at least a placement call, and moreover its salary package was very attractive (3.2 to 3.6 CTC).

As i was not really interested in the job it gave me a mixed feeling, One to be happy for not selected ant other a disappointment for failing in the interview.

But I am happy at least I got an exposure and Moreover I believe that “Failures gives you a better chance to analyse yourselves, and in long term a base to success”

Thanks and Regards,

Navneet Singh Chauhan.
