Hindi Poem: Andhera. A travelers journey in the dark to meet her love

A hindi poem that narrates a travelers journey in a dark night to meet her love.

The journey is full of uncertainties and hence the emotional touches, the thoughts of her and the darkness.

PS: I will try to add an English version if I get any comments requesting so....

Here it goes.....

Yeh andhere ka safar,
Yeh safar ka andhera.
Kuch daravna sa, kuch meetha sa.
Han andhera hai yeh, thoda zeher thoda meetha.

Shhh. Koi hai. Shh Koi bhi toh nahi hai.
Bus mein hu yaha, ya koi hai jo sun raha meri khamoshiya.

Yeh andhere ka safar, yeh safar ka andhera.
Sunsan sadak, dhulmil manjilen.
Bus kuch hai toh ajeeb sa sannata,
Mano bus tootne ko hai, sab kuch chutne ko hai...

Tere kale kesho se bhi ghera hai yeh andhera
Mujhe nigalne ko betab yeh andhera.

Par phir jese tere kesh hatne par milti hai muskan teri.
Aesi hi ho is andheri rat ka ant; bus yehi chahat hai meri.

Motivational Quote: You are your own competition

You are your's biggest competition. When you compete with yourself no one else can compete with you. You need to strive today to be better than yesterday. Small and steady everyday improvements help you learn, improve, grow and outshine. You know what you were yesterday, what you are today and where to improve upon.

This reminds me of one of the popular brand ad campaigns by Bajaj in Hindi - Khud Se Hi Aage Har Kadam.

Hari ka Doha by Navneet

हरी हरी जपत फिरे, कर्म किये ना एक।
फिर जग रोत फिरे, हरी हीत किये ना एक।।
  - नवनीत सिंह चौहान

English Meaning:

They chanted the name of God Krishna, without doing a single karma.
Then they cried all over the world, that god did not did anything good to them.

Moral: Chant the name of the lord but don't forget to do the Karma. As Karma is above everything.

Mentioning the above quote in Hinglish so that those who can understand hindi language but not the script can understand.

Hari Hari japat phire, Karm kiye na ek.
Phir Jag rot phire, Hari hit kiye na ek.
